Welcome Danielle and the ELMMCC.
What a great place, One of the towns best assets.
so glad to see your post letting us know whats up at the ELMMCC and thats just what this site is about. We have watched the ELMM grow into such a wonderful safe place for our community and know our kids are being taught good healthy safe choices while being involved with such great programming.
We understand that much of your programs and activities rely heavely on community volunteers and hope this site will bring some more your way.
When the baseball season starts we hope you can provide us with a schedule for home games, It would be wonderful to see our towns people come out and spend a evening watching our kids play baseball and enjoy a snack from the consession stand while we are at it.
Thank you again for posting with us and keep up the great work.
Readers, do you want to be involved and make a difference? donate your time and skills to places like the ELMMCC. We understand all volunteers and employees must pass a criminal background check and will be held to a high code of ethics. If you want to make our community better, starting with the children at places like the ELMMCC is a great way to make a difference
Having grown up in Ashuelot and having enjoyed Santa on the common, it was wonderful for me to see that tradition revived I also spent many happy hours in the Ashuelot library and so did my mother so for me it is such a thrill to see my son and grandsons living there and helping to keep a wonderful tradition and sense of communtiy going. I am hoping that more people can become involved in making this small time library a rich addition to a lovely little communtiy
Welcome Will and Carole
Its great to hear how bringing back some of these "old time traditions" makes people really happy. Some of us choose to live in these small towns so we can have a closeness with our neighbors and community.

For me, and many others in our pack, tonight was the first Pine Wood Derby for Pack #340 and WOW was it fun! What a fantastic night. Thank you to the United Church of Winchester for hosting our 36 Scouts and their families.
Many thanks to Steve, Committee Chair, for organizing our race. Kerry, Cub Master for organizing our party and making sure that our Scouts had fun.To Tammy, Geneen, Barb, Lynn and Jaymz, we could not have pulled off this evening without your expertise and commitment. Thank you so much for everything you do.
To all of the Cub Scout Parents,
Thank you for your patience and understanding during this wild and crazy event. It was loud, crazy and MESSY but the boys had fun, fun, fun and that all that is important!! Thank you so much for coming tonight.
Danielle, Tiger Den Leader #1
Welcome Danielle.
Glad to hear the Pine wood derby was a great event. Do we have any future Nascar drivers?.
Could you tell us about other things our Cubscouts have been up to, or future events they may have coming?.
In our opinion Cubscouts, Boyscouts and girlscouts are proven programs that helps our children grow into healthy, safe adults and future leaders. We are very glad to see a active pack in town and hope this helps bring back a active Boyscout troop like we had in the past.
Soon we will have a place for people to post pictures, and it would be great to see some of the cars our young boys designed and built.
We would like to remind you Saturday is a big day.

Another "olde time tradition" is strong family values. Glad to see a website that promotes this. All too often the people promoting these values don't practice what they preach. We need more examples of families that are strong and loving. Where the children have a place to feel safe.
